Connecticut Gets First New Cigar Bar In 20 Years

Recommended Posts

Thank you for sharing @JohnS ! I used to live in Connecticut and the laws there are some of the most restrictive in the US. There is no smoking allowed inside ANYWHERE, current Cigar shops included. There was a place I went to buy cigars and purchasing one got you free entry to the “private club” next door that had some couches, coffee maker, and lockers for members. It was a workaround for the laws at the time.

Now I am in Michigan where cigar bars are a plenty and they can even serve food at the establishment. There is a local one that is owned by some guys who own several restaurants, so the food and bar are top notch. A step up from CT for sure.

It is definitely a strange collection of laws we have around cigars in the US, every state is a little different.

Yes, I've found in my travels that each states of the US is indeed a little different from each other. It's all very interesting, that's for sure!
