These look better than the new Patek square/cube BS

Defo. The Cubitus made me gag when my AD showed it. Disgusting

I kept going back and forth between a few Seikos and Tissot models before someone pointed me to https://bestrolexfactory.com/—they’ve got pieces that look sharp without being wildly overpriced. I ended up snagging one that checked all the boxes for me: automatic, clean design, and didn't burn through my whole budget. If you’re into the classic look, it’s worth checking out some of their stock.

The Mido is a very good watch, sitting above entry level watches in my opinion. If you like the look of the Omega Seamaster, but can't afford the price, the Mido Star 200C is a decent alternative. If you have never heard of Mido, they are a well established Swiss watch company, with a long history and many interesting innovations, part of the Swatch Group since the 80s.

I've been wearing a Bulova Marine Star for 26 years. I believe current retail for a brand new one is in the $500 - $700 range. I can't say enough about what a great watch it's been for me.
