The International Transport and Logistics Fair aims to boost the recovery of the sustainable development of transport, improve the coverage and quality of services, and advance the country's insertion in the international market.
The inauguration of the event, which will take place until tomorrow, was attended yesterday by Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, together with Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister. At the opening, according to Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, Minister of Transportation, more than 120 exhibiting entities and 600 participants from all forms of business management are present.
"Sustainable mobility of passengers and cargo, the modernization of different infrastructures, the use of renewable energy and the efficiency of supply chains are high priority issues for the country," he said.

Don't give these people any ideas!

I will say Cuba may lead the world in carbon emissions per unit of energy consumed. Every car and motorbike has a thick plume of black smoke out the tailpipe that rivals any 18 wheeler in the developed world.
