nKostyan Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 I'm 99% sure it's the original. The cigars are obtained from a regional distributor, and are in the possession of a person I can trust. I did not publish it in a waterhole, so as not to embarrass the representatives of Habanos S.A. Few people read this fake reserve. It will be useful for the FOH members to know that this happens. Yes, this beautifully rolled RA Allones No.3 number on the warranty seal is legitimate. 2
MrFolgers Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Man, those are some good looking wrappers.
gormag38 Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Wow. I've never seen an 'undressed' box before. No burn stamp or anything! Without having seen a box of RA3s before, I would've assumed they're typically put in cardboard dress boxes, but these look like wooden boxes. Wild.
Corylax18 Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 This is very odd. These cigars where technically a 2021 release, but they didn't hit the retail market until the second week of February 2023, in Cuba. Those first boxes had late 22 box codes, The earliest I saw was Oct 2022. It doesn't make much sense that they rolled and boxed cigars in 2021, probably before the packaging was finalized, then sat on the boxes for 2 years while they sent out much newer boxes. The cigars themselves look great, but that box code is extremely suspicious. It's at least a year older than any box codes I've seen for this cigar previously. 1

The warranty seal numbers 00005138xxxx correspond to the date on the bottom of the box, which means they were sealed and lay in the central warehouse for 2 years. The guys say that they received a regional release in the same boxes for distribution on Habanos Day.
