DOYLE Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Norm was an awesome person. My former assistant's roommate ended up being his assistant a few years before he passed. I went over there one day and he was there. We all hung out and smoked green stuff that's not cigars. It was pretty surreal to be sitting around with him in my friends living room and talking. 1
JohnS Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 In Australia, I became familiar (with him) with his small recurring role in NewsRadio as Jimmy James' lawyer. He simply nailed the comic timing in each appearance, he was magnificent. Then I saw some comedic turns on Saturday Night Live and it was easy to tell how funny Norm was. He just seemed so natural. I recently went through nine seasons of the Middle and Norm played Mike Heck's brother on that show. Again, he was a legend! 3
