Fireball Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 PLPC- RAT MAY 20 Last night I took the dog for a walk and grabbed a PLPC I got on a 24 a couple years ago. Full smoke, perfect construction, all the almond, caramel, and cream I could handle. The essence of what a perfect PLPC should be (for me). These have just been sitting there, but I want to let others like me know that if you have one- light it up. So I thought I would pose an open question: What have you smoked recently that is, for it’s marca/vitola, at it’s prime right now? 2
dangarneau Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 For me...just had my first from a box of TLP JUL 22 of Epi No. 2s and I could smoke them now, although they will likely benefit from another year. For me what is really hitting right now are PSD4's. Anything from ENE 23 back to 20 or so are just so good. They are the perfect breakfast cigar with a nice hot coffee. 1
bkizzle1318 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 I have to agree with you on the psd4 I got a 10 box from apr 23 and a 25 box from Nov 22 on 24:24 the last couple of weeks and smoked one of each when I received them and the Nov 22 was amazing. The apr 23 needs more time for sure. I also got some psd6 from Feb 23 as well and they were exceptional 3
jakebarnes Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Things I really like right now: 2019 PLPC- caramel hitting 2019 Lusi- Hitting its stride finally any Monte Petit Edmundo 2019 PSP2 2021 VR famosos 2018 QdO 50 4
Bada_Bing_NJ Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 PLG 2021 smoking great! had one other night with espresso (smooth mild notes of barnyard, leather, oak, & peanuts). Ash was firm compared too first one I had on course last year could tell youth but was also bit of a snug roll. LGC RE Andino ‘21 MTS compares to a light Siglo VI. Was my first LGC & RE CC. I must say the RE tobacco is A1! I never smelled or tasted Cuban tobacco like this before! Super smooth, nutty, hickory, vanilla coffee, twang, barnyard. I have to smoke another for flavor profile last one I had was when daughter was born. 3
Nevrknow Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Agreed 2019 Lusis. Almost out. Went deep on PLPC and Reyes. Need to dig some out and try to trade for more Lusis. Of course there's always BR if that fails. 👍🏻 2
Arminius Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 My boxes of 2019 Trini Reyes and 2019 QdO 50. 1
Popular Post El Presidente Posted September 25, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2023 Current 22/23 Epicure Number 2's shading out Serie D Number 4's and RASS. Monte 2's are on song. For those 4 cigars it is a golden period. 4 1

Could not agree more, my 2022 Epicure Number 2s and D4s are absolutely singing. Constant 93/94 for the No 2s and 92/93 D4s. Hoyo is on one a hell of a run. I think I've only had a single sub 91 point Hoyo since before covid, a plugged No 1.
gormag38 Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 I too am jumping on the hoyo bandwagon. For me it's a 19 cab of epi 2s though. UTL DIC 19. It took a couple years but right now this cab is truly awesome, pure cream bombs. Some others that have been hitting: MTS NOV 21 PSP2 MTS OCT 21 E2s SOU MAR 21 Siglo II EPO JUL 22 and also GEM JAN 22 HU2s 2
Adisaputra Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Any input about 2023 Punch Punch, Demi Tasse, Connie 2, Fonseca No. 1 and Double Edmundo? Planning to grab those to age, but need to be sure how’re their current taste 😅
Puros Y Vino Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Not your average, attainable release, but the LGC Deliciosos (2009 RE) are smoking fantastic. Had one a few months ago and just got lost in the enjoyment of it.
SMELTZ Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 22-23 H.Upmann Mag 54 are smoking brilliantly right now. I recommend a 10 box asap. 22 Regional release Juan Lopez Dragones are excellent. If you can find any Robaina Classicos, that right now is my favorite cigar 1
