Popular Post Ford2112 Posted July 4, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 4, 2023 I had a 6 count of these things. Almost done with them. I got them pretty cheap a couple years ago all things considered these days . The aroma pre light at the foot was amazing! Like a spicy rye bread and barnyard. Nice looking wrapper. That double band makes it smell better 🙄. Anyway. 1st . Toasted it slowly. I wanted a good light. And it went out after a minute! Maybe too slowly? Lit it a bit more, perfect! The draw was a bit on the tight side and it felt a tad overfilled. But the flavor springboard off that pre light aroma,I kept thinking rye bread notes and spice, leathery ,not as much output of smoke as I like. Slow start as it felt a bit closed up due to a tight draw. I did a little perfecdraw work and that did the trick. 2nd. Well the wrapper was a bit flame retardant. Had to touch it up quite a bit. The construction seemed to be a bit shoddy. After all,it's a luxury item 🫢. Flavors are picking up to a bit over medium . More of that rye with a dark molasses, sweet on the lips. It really is a good cigar. The smoke output is thicker now. I started smoking it a bit fast and it got hot so I slowed down. Final third. I made it to about an inch which took a good 90 minutes. I'd say it was medium full by this time. No real edges and a very enjoyable smoke. That sweet molasses and rye was killer! Had the burn been solid and no touch ups or relights I would have rated it a 95. 92 points. Maybe 93, just because. Happy 4th everyone! 14
