That's the better part of half a million, to one country and those are just the documented ones. I think we need to stop using 11 million as the presumed population of Cuba. There is no way there are even 10 million at this point. The other very important point here is that they are losing a lot of their smartest, most productive individuals. If they had lost that many people a year since the revolution that would add up to ~15 million people. 1
