Cuba Facing Money Shortage

I guess its not that big of a deal if there isn't anything to buy, right? People were worried about this happening when the CUC was eliminated and the "MLC" was added. (2nd article) The Cuban government has essentially stolen everyone's money, and now they wont give it back. As I stated in another thread recently, its all come full circle. The Cuban Government and Military now exist solely as means to exploit the rest of the Cuban population.

    People are voting with their feet and leaving if they have the means. The drain on Cuba will end up collapsing the country within 10 years barring any more natural disasters which will only speed it up IMO.  

    Instead of the US investing into the country they will have China or Russia step in and buy out a lot of the worthwhile investments such as land and then when the rest of the infrastructure collapses the same people will end up “investing” in that and Cuba will end up a slave satellite country to them.  
 

I would love the embargo to end and some major resort companies invest, cruise ships pay for improvements to the port, a fresh infusion of American tourists allowing infrastructure improvements , etc but it’s all a dream.  Even if it happened, the government would take the money and line people’s pockets and the infrastructure would continue to fall apart.
