Perhaps it would help to add an example:  If I did have a Cohiba Esplendido in 2022 (which I did not; even though well-aged Espys are a truly significant favorite of mine), ...but that cigar was from, say, 2012, is it fair to say that it is truly relatable to an aged Espy?  That's my challenge with the lists as presented.  Hopefully that helps clarify.

I completely understand and appreciate the feedback. I was trying to simplify the polls and still be able to create value in the information gathered. The last time I made a poll like this, I had a page for each Marca  and it flooded the forum. My main difficulty stems from determining whether you draw a hard line in the sand on if the cigar has to be box code 2022 or not. As for this study I thought that the results would be reflective for how FOH ranks the cigars in question (regardless of age) and simply chose the cigars that are always a standout for them.

The top 4 being Mag 46, PSD 4, RASS, and BBF really isn't a surprise for 2022. They're readily available and exemplary. If we still had the same prices and stock of old, I still think Cohiba would be king

PSD4s are always stellar, I wish I bought more boxes a few years back.

I have a box of RyJ wide churchhills which are all plugged. I had one a few weeks back and it was only slightly plugged, so I'm hoping a few more months on the rest of the box and it'll open up.

this is an old post but wanted to share some observations. 

I took the results of [2019 poll] and [2022 poll and combined the two. I assigned 20 points to the winner in each poll, 19 to the runner up and worked my way down with 1 point to the 20th cigar in each poll. Then I took total of the two points each cigar got in each of the polls. I added the total points and the cigars with the highest point got an overall rank 1. 

I have attached a table with top 10 cigars based on combined points  

I have 5 of the top 10 cigars. RASS, RyJ Churchill & HdM Epicure 1 are next on the list. It’s also interesting to see the largest swings from 2019 to 202:

Lagest positive swing:

1.  Punch Punch
2. H Upmann Magnum 46
3. H Upmann No 2
4. RASS

Largest Negative Swing

1. Cohiba Esplendidos
2. Trinidad Fundadores
3. Juan Lopez Selección No. 2
4. H. Upmann Connossieur A

Cohiba and Trinidad one could attribute to prices. But JLP No 2 was surprising.
