Saw this on a FB this morning.  Someone posted a little humble-brag about rotating his 1996's humidors.  Someone then posted a video showing a loose Cuban seal inside the box.  Buying these would hurt.

From the OP's original post.

What someone responded with.  The top picture has the seals on the outside.  Can't read the serial #'s as it is low-res.  The screen cap shows the seal loose on the inside.  The boxes don't appear to be related.

Unfortunately, authentic humidors and legitimate warranty seals have not been a problem for scammers for a long time.

Sure but to make the mistake of putting a loose warranty seal into the humidor?  It's not like the counterfeiters dont' have access to the internet to see what looks legit.  Whether the serial# comes back with a positive match is another story.  This is as bad as the loose Habanos and warranty seal in the fake Esplendidos you find in Cuba.  They would fool more people by affixing those stickers where they should be. It's like there's an a silent acknowledgement that the counterfeiters can do their thing as long as they dont to it 100% perfect.

So if I'm understanding it, you get the seals on the outside cardboard, and then another extra loose seal inside the box? Seems a strange error.

Nothing to say from the pictures, but these humis are definitely available on all the fake sites and you can buy empty replicas on AliBaba.

If you are immersed in the world of Cuban cigars, you should know that there are unwritten rules - taboos. The warranty seal should not be shown anywhere other than the box. This video is equivalent to an advertisement for a bank, in which there is a machine for printing counterfeit banknotes in the background.
Also, scammers can leave it as an “Easter egg”, hinting at a fake. They often do this for professionals to then say "you want a refund? No refund! You saw that it was a fake and you bought it anyway."
