sealing a glasstop humidor

Hello everyone, I'm new here, looking for a place to talk cigars. Reddit is nice but it's a bit too fast-paced. I have two glasstop humidors, they suit my needs in my apartment very well. Apparently they have a bad rap for leaking air a lot. One of mine has gaps in the inner panels as well, making it even worse. How can I seal the glass tops, and gaps in the panels?

Plenty of talk about "sealing" but I don't know what is safe. Acid-free silicone caulking? Give it a few days or weeks before I put the cigars back in?

You answered your own question. Seal the glass ( top outside only ). Don't worry about the panels as long as the outside corners are tight you should be good to go. And, oh yea, keep it away from sunlight. Always. 👍
