Popular Post 5thStarChicago Posted February 27, 2023 Popular Post Posted February 27, 2023 My favorite line from Tatuaje (and I smoke a lot of them), the T is my pick of the 6 available violas (H being #2) and one of my favorite cigars, period. The Escaso series is small but regular production made in Miami since 2019. The original wrapper was shade Ecuador Habano but was switched to shade Corojo in 2020 and when from great to even greater. I have boxes from multiple batches and aged or new, they are just brilliant. Light spice, pepper, leather and earth mixed in with a beautiful sweetness that builds as it burns. The last 3rd / finish reminds me of Punch DCs like no other cigar can do. I've smoked about a dozen of these over the last 2 weeks and all have been killer. Smooth from the start and the flavors evolve throughout the cigar, I nub them to the end. Best $14 you can spend IMHO. 7 5/8 x 49 Double Corona 12 1
KCCubano Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Nice review and my fave Tat. Not much pepper compared to other Tatuaje's.I Like the Corona and Lancero. 1
mbflash80 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 I just picked up a box of the T and the U after buying fivers and singles here and there for the past couple of years...I would say this line is my current favorite NC...really nice smoke.

The wrapper change was for the best, especially on the 3 skinny sizes. We move a lot of all of them. Fortunately Pete just released a good amount of all of them so I don't need to hoard them at present.
jimjim Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Wait this is regular production. I was under the impression it was a one time production. Ok so no fomo.

Ok so no fomo. Regular but limited. Seems like there's a run once or twice a year. The "Luxury" Escaso in the coffin boxes were limited to one run. Once those are gone, they are gone. In theory there will be a new version at some point. 1
