Popular Post cigaraholic Posted January 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 29, 2023 Time for a nice mid-morning cigar and coffee watching the end of the Rolex 24 while waiting for the Niner game to see if Cinderella gets to go to the Bowl. I love this cigar, but hate the size. For me these short fat road flares are the easiest to overheat. But I’ve never been disappointed in the quality of the tobacco in the boxes I’ve had. The wrapper is a nice deep colorado shade, it feels a little light to me but it’s solid, no soft spots. Cold draw flavors are cocoa and earthy tobacco, it’s a little open for me. Starts with lots of semi sweet chocolate and a nice earthy twang finish. It develops a creamy mouth feel, I’m smoking it very slowly to not overheat this road flare. Halfway the chocolate turns bittersweet and stretches into the finish. A very enjoyable 80 minute smoke, I think a little more tobacco would take it up a few points. 13 2
Sudzdaddy Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Thanks for the review! Been awhile since I've tried one, need to revisit!
KCCubano Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Picked up quarter box last year. Except for a totally plugged stick beyond perfecdraw repair the quality was excellent. Blend spot on. I dont care for size either...especially at current price points. I do have a couple of 2020 boxes I have yet to touch. Look forward to sampling in a couple of years. Nice review!
