El Presidente Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I find it hard to believe but I am only reporting the article Tripadvisor awards Cuba top spot for travel destinations They say that travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. With that in mind, let’s check out the locations globetrotters are investing in this year. Experts at Tripadvisor have crunched the data, analysing millions of reviews submitted to its platform, to reveal the definitive travel list for the year. And the hottest up-and-coming travel spot for 2023 – drum roll please – is Cuba. The most popular overall was Dubai. The Caribbean island, which is home of the salsa, sashayed into the No.1 spot with the greatest year-over-year growth in interest on the site. 1
NSXCIGAR Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Year-over-year growth may just be because it wasn't really viable for travel in 2021 then in 2022 it was. 1

vladdraq Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 In the Cayos most of the older hotels were closed. Those "oldies" were on the prime locations with great beaches. Now empty. Kilometers of white sand only for you. Very cool, but weird feeling. 2
targa88 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I was wonder about the interpretation of data and the motivation of those providing it.... Cuba has essentially been shutdown (various reasons - which have been discussed at length before) Dubai - I would debate influx is that a function of events like the World Cup .....in the area..

There where literally 8 people staying in this entire hotel. 3

Told them it was really easy to be the fastest growing hardware brand in the country when you started the year with one store, and opened another 5 later that year... while your competitor has over 200 stores and only opened 3 more. The looks I got in that meeting could have vaporised steel instantly. 2 1
