I’m from the US (northeast) and now live in Shanghai. The first Cuban I ever smoked was around 2008, a Short Bolivar RE Asia Pacifico. I remember being floored at the time by how much I loved it, so much so that it ended up being the first box I bought - I still have a couple from this box - an emotional attachment. I stopped smoking cigars for several years but have restarted enjoying them, here and there, over the past year or two. The good thing is when I started smoking again, I had a couple of boxes with a few years on them waiting. The bad thing is I no longer have a couple of boxes with a few years on them waiting.
