Popular Post El Presidente Posted December 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 20, 2022 I remember my first year in banking and my first Office Christmas Party. Sodom and Gomorrah people....Sodom and Gomorrah 😲 I fell in love with the concept day one. Of course those were the days when banks had a fully operating staff bar and canteen. It was considered good for morale that staff to had a place to get plastered and unwind onsite. You may have guessed that the "Human Resources Department" hadn't yet been invented. They are the true "Grinch's" of Christmas. The air is full of smoke, home truths are being told, problems at home unfold, not a mobile phone to behold. Take a year of office tensions, take a year of office flirting, add a ton of alcohol and remove the rulebook. What could go wrong 🙄 The office Christmas Party was the Superbowl of work place clusterf***s. Post discussion ot the event would carry on for weeks. Things have changed somewhat. Czar Christmas Party is on today.  Subsitute "Jim" below for "Rob"  1 8
Popular Post KCCubano Posted December 21, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2022 Have a great office xmas party story. I owned a large mortgage company for 20 years and booked the upstairs at a local upscale restaurant and hired a band. At closing time I went to settle up etc while several others including my wife at the time and a couple other gals decided to catch a ride with one of my employees and her husband to a bar down the road. Well Kid Rocks "Cowboy" came on the radio and my employee proceeded to perform a "sexual act" on her husband while the gals were in the back seat horrified lol. The following Monday we blasted Kid Rock over the office intercom system in her honor!! She had no clue...pretty sure she didnt remember a thing! 1 6
vladdraq Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 That guy remembers me a bit the supervisor, what was his name, Lumbergh? from office space. Pretty much a douchebag. The girl was done the pour soul, don't drink if you can't handle it. (yay, happened to me many times, still on the learning curve)
