I can not possibly understand how someone starts a fire in the oven.  

If your oven temp is hotter than the flash point of fat or oil when roasting a turkey, you're doing something wrong.  Likewise, why are people filling the roasting pan to the point of overflow.

I would like to point out that in the first "towering BBQ inferno" at Czars, I risked my life to jump into the flames and turn off the gas bottle while Smithy pushed aside the logistics team as he ran onto the street, hands waving in the air screaming "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" 

 

It very much resembled this.

or the time I had Dominic who was only 2 months on the deck and Rob nearly blew up the deck with me , our mother, Diana's son , Diana and Dominic  ...... such a wonderful Godfather  😉🤣🤣

 

Yes Rob we need to get you an apron saying approach cooking zone with caution ⚠️ 🚒🔥🧯

I love the dog at :45.  He starts getting out of there before the turkey goes in the pot.  It's like he's seen that play out before!  😆
