vladdraq Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 On my last trip someone stole my kid's iphone (at the resort we were staying), getting back home i was able to track it down to a very small village. You get to the Cayos only in a bus, transporting the employees from Moron and vice versa , on that specific evening it was only one bus leaving. There is no way to not know who took it. Regardless, we didn't even get an answer back from the "customer service" nothing, nada. So, times are changing in Cuba. 2

Ken Gargett Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 some years back, thanks to the imbeciles at Iberia (which must bee inbred with our own stumbling wombat, qantas), a mate and i were delayed a day in Madrid from getting to Havana. but my luggage was sent on time. i thought that 24 hours at the Havana airport, good luck ever seeing anything again. and yet when i arrived, there was my luggage, all safe and sound, looked after by the local airport workers and not even opened. i tried very hard to leave a thank you tip for the woman i spoke to but she would not hear of it. refused point blank. said it was her job and she did not expect to be tipped for doing it. actually, seemed a bit put out that i would even try. honestly, i am not making this up. in the end, i left some money on a table for her (at least that way i could feel better about it) but i suspect that if she found it, she probably put it aside to wait for someone to claim it. 1 2 1
