This is Trocadero by J. Cano, so a sister brand of La Flor de Cano. Same address also.

Pictured in the vista is Palais du Trocadéro in Paris, heritage venue for some of the world fairs.

I remember the bar upstairs with a co-worker wondering why they played constant gay porn (not that there’s anything wrong with that but 😬).

Yes, that trade name had been adopted in 1955, with the passing of founder Juan Cano Sainz. Before that, likely not before 1939, when son Ernesto entered the family’s business, they firmed under the company name J. Cano e Hijo, like displayed on the box.

Other brands of J. Cano were ‘Caracol’ and ‘La Rica Hoja’.
