Darn it 2424 just became a whole lot dearer!

Our delectable government just announced a budget that's cutting taxes, reversing some tax legislation, halting tax increases on alcohol. Increasing government debt to humongous levels. All I can think about is 2424 is now dearer as were almost on parity with the dollar again, like it's 1985!!

Strange times indeed in the UK. 

The good news is that it is far cheaper for me to get to London and stay at The Stafford

This is the last thing the people in charge wanted to happen, they do nothing but bang on about "foreigners comin over 'ere", and they've only gone and made us a much more attractive proposition to anyone not unfortunate enough to have £'s in their bank account!

I’m guessing most online Habanos retailers are thrilled to see the dollar’s strength (at least those that price their wares in USD) after more than a year of supply constraints (presumably) eating into revenue.

Distributors + major online retailers buy in USD.. Largely revenue neutral.
