RDB Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 I’ve been struck by how well some young cigars are smoking at the moment. Recent Monte and Partagas have been just great for me, right down to the nub. Especially 21 production. Could it be we’re getting older leaf? That would make sense if rolling is not keeping up with the supply of raw materials.

They need a good season this year to replace the 50 odd ton of baled leaf that they have lost to fires in 2022 (to date). No fuel. No cash...... No chance. 1
