Popular Post El Presidente Posted July 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2022 For those who haven't read it (and are interested), an excellent interview with Phoenicia group Chairmen, Mohamed Zeidan CONTINUED “When I was launching my business, I was inspired by the spirit of the Phoenicians who would sail off in boats to trade and discover new markets. I started my business from ground zero driven by a vision of the future.” These are the words of Mohamed Zeidan, Chairman of the Phoenicia Group of Companies, about the founding of his cigar supply and distribution business in Lebanon in 1979. The 40th anniversary of partnership with the Cuban cigar business through Cubatabaco and Habanos was due to be celebrated in November 2019, but postponed. Finally, last month, the group hosted a sumptuous evening that blended the physical and the virtual to mark the occasion. 4 1
Mr. Japan Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 It can be the same. The stocks of Phoenicia are out of the ordinary.
BrightonCorgi Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Probably the best place to buy cigars in the world in person (price & selection). My cousin goes to Lebanon every year or two and stocks up there.
Ryan Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 I was in that humidor, the part at the back, in 2017 after the Rio Seco launch. Mohamed Zeidan was in there himself going through boxes of Ramon Allones Palmera to help a customer make a choice. I don’t know if the customer even knew who he was. He puts in the leg work. 2
