Popular Post Cigar-Therapy
This day in 1944, a living miracle happened. In defiance of physics, Higgins Landing Craft were able to carry the gargantuan balls of those who rushed into the gates of hell. This includes soldiers from America, Britain, Canada, Australia, Belgian, Czech, Netherlands, France, Greece, New Zealand, Poland, and Rhodesian. Thank you to all those who have served, and have shouldered the burden of a serving family member. 19

cgoodrich
If only the present generation had such courage, honor, self sacrifice, and balls that big. Thank you to all who served!
Chas.Alpha
For what it’s worth, General Eisenhower was briefed on the possibility that the casualties could have been as high as 70% killed. He had drafted a press release in case the invasion was a total failure. Thank God for Bletchley Park and a bunch of dummies with firecrackers at the Pas de Calais... 😳
