PuroDiario Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Reyes is irreplaceable for me. I personally would love a substitute, I have not been able to find comfort in the other obvious candidates…and I do like most of them. Open here for suggestions too. Perhaps a forward transition plan as my stock dies out. 🥹 1
Bijan Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 I think hoyo du député or RG Perla are as close as it gets. Député can have baking spice but in the savoury side, while Reyes and Trinidad in general are baking spice but sweet. RG perlas can have honey/molasses sweetness and some bite but without the spice. Edit: all this talk of Reyes convinced me to burn one and I think I'd stand by my deputy comment. 2 1
Popular Post RDB Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 This thread is a great example of Cigar Bulletin Board General Law #1: all discussions about which cigar is most [insert description here] will sooner or later name all possible cigars. 1 4

No one's mentioned the Siglo I yet, I think it's technically one dollar cheaper 🤣 (based on that Spanish price list) 1

Habanos has gotcha covered!😂 2 4
grabow32 Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 I really enjoy the Partagas Short as a substitute for the Trinidad's as well. 2 1
Popular Post RichG Posted June 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2022 I don’t know that I would call it a Reyes substitute but a NC petit corona that really impressed me recently was Illusione Epernay Le Petit…I have a fiver…I just looked and saw these come in 50 cabs, which is a cool bonus too! 3 2
