Reyes is irreplaceable for me. I personally would love a substitute, I have not been able to find comfort in the other obvious candidates…and I do like most of them. Open here for suggestions too. Perhaps a forward transition plan as my stock dies out. 🥹

I think hoyo du député or RG Perla are as close as it gets.

Député can have baking spice but in the savoury side, while Reyes and Trinidad in general are baking spice but sweet.

RG perlas can have honey/molasses sweetness and some bite but without the spice.

Edit: all this talk of Reyes convinced me to burn one and I think I'd stand by my deputy comment.
