LordAnubis Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Just an out there thought. Cohiba is the new luxury brand. Shiny bands, high price, all that jazz. Say there is a 2008 box sitting on a shelf somewhere... do you think that will sit there indefinitely as the uber rich will walk past the dull, lifeless, "whats this povo shit with no gold on it", and go straight to the latest 5 band diamond encrusted Cohiba? Do you think there is a market here to obtain aged Cohiba cheap? i wonder...

LordAnubis Posted May 30, 2022 Author Posted May 30, 2022 No one cares about BR mate 😂... what I'm saying is the humidor at Ritz will have shitty Cohiba as above. Next to the latest gold label one. The rich guy who walks in will pick the shiny one, guaranteed. The old shitty cigars above will sit on shelves with no love. Walk in, offer a price, I'd bet you'd get a good deal on them.

Like the mythical Monfortino that has languished on the Italian restaurant wine list for $150 because no one wanted to pay $150 for a wine to go with chicken parm
