I just had a quick question to those with experience with Custom Cuban cigars which is...what do you find is the best humidity for them prior to smoking, generally speaking?

I am curious because I like to keep my Habanos at 62ish prior to smoking (some even lower, like R&J Cazadores) whereas I like my NCS at 65. I suspect they would perform more like Habanos Cubans but figured it couldn't hurt to check.

As you can probably tell, I'm new to the world of Customs but I hope to be lighting a few up this summer, and just wanted to ensure the most optimal smoking experience as possible.

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback!

Personally I like to take them into the 62% box prior to smoking. Store them otherwise at 65%. All a matter of personal preferences though.

It won't hurt for you to try a few a varying ranges if you have sufficient and find your sweet spot.

usually when I get customs they are young and a bit moist.

I have smoked a few before they have dried down to  the level at which I store my sticks  ,but generally if they are under 68 % I have no problems.

you should be fine if you store them like your other CCs.
