Popular Post Mhansen85 Posted February 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2022 1/3 opening soft and mild, but quickly transitions to lovely Creamy milk chocolate, dusty cedar notes, coco, and a honeyed cake note. luxurious velvety smoke reminiscent of a davidoff. Bit of White pepper and coco on the retro. This is a stellar start! 2/3 and array of flavors, and increased intensity. All the above and now also salty almonds and loads of Cream. Coffee Cream, fruity Cream, Honey cream. Raisins Very luxurious mouthfeel and excellent smoke output that coats and envelop the palate. What a great cigar medium-bodied 3/3. keeps getting better. Molasses and Brown sugar now, with all of the above. Coffee Cream steps forward a lot in the last third One of these nice Sticks where flavors change with each draw, but all are excellent and the smoker is engaged throughout . towards the close a bunch of baking spice hits the palate and retro. Too bad this was the only one I had.. 95 points 8
RDB Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 The thing that makes this hobby so addictive (apart from the nicotine) is the occasional really great smoke…
Edicion Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 Rare to see a 95 point score, must've been a really great experience.

For me, this was right up there 9 hours ago, Edicion said: Rare to see a 95 point score, must've been a really great experience. Well its subjective, one mans 95 is another mans pot plant fertilizer ;-). but the majority I smoke is around 88-91 for me, based on my not very scientific approach. 89 is my becnhmark for solid very enjoyable cigar. 92+ is where we land when i see basically no flaws or detractions at all ( i will tolerate a bit of heat in the last third) and from there its more subjective around the overall feel and experience. 95 is for me where we get really great experiences and a lot of complexity, as well as quality and density of flavor. Usually also some good transitions or a very very good monotone profile. But i am trying my best to convey my overall experience and the rating is more relative so if you read my different reviews you will be able to see how i rate and compare against different cigars. 2
