Popular Post Mhansen85 Posted February 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2022 Corona grandes. Love this vitola I fint most cohiba does not change with 2-3 year of aging. They are for the long run or ROTT if you dont mind that flavor profile. Paired with Woodford Reserve wheated bourbon This tastes fresh. Freshly cut grass, oats. Baking spice .Not cremy, no discernable sweetness Draw and Construction is very good 1/3. Very grassy. Hay and dusty earth. Retro a bit Sharp but not spicy. Mouthdrying 2/3. creamyness and sweetness increases a bit here, thank god. It makes it much more palatable for me. Cashew and macadamia nuts in spades coming in now. This is coming together lovely now. Rough edges are gone and creamy oaky notes are dominating with the nutty flavors. Hint of sourdough 3/3 continues along the same route. Moving more towards toasty Tobacco towards the end. A bit boring on the close . 89 points 11
Popular Post coug28 Posted February 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2022 This is my experience as well with young Siglos. They can often be uninteresting and lacking much ‘character’ due to the lighter flavor profile. When aged though (3-5, leaning more toward the 5+ IMO), this is where the flavors become more vibrant. JMO of course. 5
KCCubano Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Agree with everything you have said! Love the vitola. Too bad only another one left. Maybe wrong but Montecristo Tubos are same vitola. Loved the Punch SS1. Nice review! 2
