El Presidente Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 who can tell me what the Delamonte means/symbolises on the SP band?
NSXCIGAR Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Been so long you forgot? I guess this was the best answer from @broozer: Their answer is that Délamonté is a Spanish family name. This band was probably a personalised cigar band made for a person named Délamonté. As Sancho Panza never cared to produce different bands since probably the 19th Century this was probably the last band existed when Sancho Panza no longer produced new cigar band design. 4
Fuzz Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Oh, I thought it was Cuba being Cuba, misspelling a tribute to the canned food.... 2
ElReyDel757 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 11 hours ago, Psiman said: Delamote means next to being discontinued and down to one size being made. I thought that was common knowledge I certainly hope not, but I’ve been concerned for years. I love the flavor profile.
Huckleberry Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I thought it was spanish for "deliberately screwing up a good thing by not meeting consumer demand for a great cigar." The SPB is a fantastic cigar...
NSXCIGAR Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 The Belicosos aren't going anywhere. SP's last model and a vitola that HSA loves. It is hard to believe we now have 4 brands with only one model and 5 more with only two.
Pharmacovigilant Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Here I thought it was a luxury sedan model by Mitsubishi in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. 1
