El Presidente Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 and this is why things have to change. _________________________________________________________________________________ The world's largest cruise liner is forcing Cuban crew members to work under ''slave labour'' conditions as per a new report. The report states that the wages of these crew members are being used to fund the Communist regime. They have been denied access to their passports by MSC Cruises and 80 per cent of their money is being handed over to the Cuban authorities. https://www.wionews.com/world/worlds-largest-cruise-liner-forcing-cuban-crew-members-to-work-under-slave-labour-conditions-448141 2
BrightonCorgi Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 If the ship is Cuban registered, they operate under Cuban laws per say. MSC should not register a ship there if they bound by such workplace requirements.
Fuzz AI Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 MSC, probably the worst shipping line I've ever come across. Charge you an arm and a leg of freight, change the requirements and rules at the drop of a hat, and tend to arrive into port a week or two late... that is unless the decide to omit your port, then you will god knows how long! 1
