Customer came in to my lounge and gifted me 8 Partagas Serie D No4s 

Didn't pay any money so if they are fake no big deal i have a few orders on the way but Reddit is giving me mixed answers so I figured id come here 

box date and bar codes are missing but the proper Crest appears under black light The gentleman who gave them to me said his family from Cuba sent them and he didn't like them

The usual fake. On the island, Cubans can buy it for $ 10-15 per box. Usually every Cuban carries it with him across the border in an amount that customs can allow. Then they sell it on the flea markets for $100-150 per box. Partagas are rare, usually it's Cohiba Esplendidos and Robustos, which can be sold for $150-200

As stated incorrect but it should still have a serial number this century at least.

If someone says they don't like D4s with 5+years on them they're fake cigars. Case closed.
