I think I got this cigar from another vendor that was offering a fiver sampler for placing an order over a certain amount dollar amount. I received it either late last year or early this year. I think it was pre-2013 based on the primary band, but I may be wrong. Again construction was good with no draw or burn issues, but again it was very bland. No transitions noted and nothing worth noting. Suffice to say that I'm in the camp that does not enjoy the Monte Open Series.

Don’t bow to political pressure. I’ve smoked several of the Open line, and while I don’t understand what exactly they were trying to achieve, I never found them to be offensive. Just a smoke that I do not understand. I have several friends that like them. Cheers!
