So, what is your most valued possession in your humidor? Not necessarily $$ but maybe for sentimental reasons. El Presidente, I would really like here what you have just laying round? (You know the special ones that Ken hasn't gotten his hands on!) :-D

Tough Question!

I am a lover of cigars and wine and the whole concept of extended aging of either somehow feels alien. I believe most cigars are superb at 5-7 years of age and hence I have absolutely nothing that is pre 1997 in my personal humidor....I have smoked them all and never regretted it a moment ....cest la vie!

What are really good currently are the Millenium Jar releases. I have retained one of each for myself + three jars of the Millenium Cohiba Piramide to be opened at the wedding of each of my three children, Ben 11, Becky 8, and Tom 4.

Amazing. Your kids are nearly identical in age to mine. I have Olivia, 12, Kate 9 and John at 4.

As far as the question, it is a cool topic. My most rare, I guess, would be a few R&J ex #2's. Nothing compared to some of the stuff out there, but within my budget. Have a great weekend!

I just got a 1999 RyJ Churchill Tubo from a great BOTL in a trade. Looks and smells delish:-P

I am an anxious S.O.B. so I will introduce it to my friend FIRE this weekend.

Me, no kids yet, but in the near future I shall have a lil' head runnin' round causing troubles.

Have a stupendous weekend!

I have a box of CoRo from Dec 04 that I will smoke one of on every one of my daughter's birthdays until they are done, or I'm pushing up daisys. I also have a box of RyJ Churchill tubos from Dec 04 that I am saving for her wedding day. I will smoke on, her mom, maybe her and/or her new husband, and they get the rest. Her birth month is Dec 04, by the way.

Other than that, the box of Habanos Festival 2000 PCs are pretty special.

i also have a cohiba sublime that was gifted to me that i plan to smoke on my 10th anniversary in 5 years.

and this july i will be getting a call from another dear brother telling me to fire up the ryj churchill tubo he sent me to celebrate the birth of his first son. :-)

My most prized possessions are my two boxes of RA 898's. There is nothing else in the humidor that even remotely compares, IMO.

» My most prized possessions are about 75 Salomones rolled by Hamlet at R&J,about 30 rolled by La China at Partagás.Other than those a box of Cohiba Reservas, box of Cohiba EL DC's, and boxes of VR Famosos and Unicos autogaphed by Don Alejandro Robaina and the Trinidad Farmhouse Humidor, most of the Trinis out of that smoked already, though!

ag,

let me tell you that fat chance of me getting my hands on anything decent that the pres has - despite attempted bribing with endless bottles of great wine rather than the adulterated petrol that he normally drinks, nada!

that said, for me, it is a small humidor made at don alejandro robaina's farm, with emblem, and signed by the man himself. thata is pretty special. the word, as translated by el pres so who knows what was really said, was that this was the first that they had made and that they intended to make a range but as far as i know (and i would love any info if anyone knows anything to the contrary) this was it. as for cigars, i have one that can't be mentioned if mates want to keep their job, so i won't but i also have a hamlet salamones just sitting (oh, the willpower to keep my hands off that) and waiting and just a few hamlet robustos (i had a heap but have smoked almost all and they have been some of the best cigars ever). for those that don't know hamlet, he is a mate who started in medical school but after a year, decided to move to rolling and became a star (and what a year - 195 students - only five of them guys, and two of those batting for the other side - poor man was exhausted). he can roll a cigar with the absolute best of them. now if we could only get him to return emails.
