Second one out of the second box of these I've had and I must say that I'm impressed. It's very much in the cheap and cheerful camp but aspiring to the glamping end of the site. It wants to be in a yurt with a proper bed and a wood burner rather than a leaky borrowed tarp and a hammock.
Looks rough, feels light and this one has a loose draw on lighting. The initial puff brings a light peppery twang and a touch of dark fruit - damsons spring to mind. These are the two main themes that remain throughout the next hour.
This profile is typical of the dozen I've had so far and very pleasant. The burn line is good and the ash very dark. Quite light in strength but a lovely depth of flavour.
Not much development as it progresses but it's a nicely balanced profile so that's all good.
Little hints of lemon here and there and as it's hot in the sun today would go well with a cold beer, but I'm at work so that's not an option...
Consistent to the end with no real variation and happily nubbed it.
The obvious comparisons are with Quintero and JLP, it being a short filler cigar, however in my opinion it's a step up from both of these brands in presentation (nice box), construction (very good) and flavour (aspiring to sophisticated).
A solid hour start to finish and a satisfying cigar.
8/10 - get some in, they're worth it.

Nice review.

Very good smokes for the price and I have never personally noticed any difference between short filler and long filler, so its fine with me.

Have also enjoyed a couple LFdC ER's and have become a big fan of the marca.

Enough so that I have a box of PC's on the way too
