Had a epi #2 last night that I moved to my dry box a week ago. Feels light in the hand so I would normally do a punch cut and if tight do a regular straight cut.  Was already winding down from the day and just did a straight cut which resulted in a pretty open draw. Oh well, I've found I prefer a more open draw vs closed. 

1 - Tons of thick dense smoke coming from this stick. First third is dominated by floral and sweet cream notes. 

2 - 2nd third flavors shift more towards the creamy side. Thinking creamy coffee or milk chocolate?  Hints of floral pop up every now and again

3 - Ending is dominated by wood.  Get some hot bitter notes here and there with the cigar burning pretty quickly in my opinion. Attempt to slow it down but getting pretty tired so I'll just put it out whenever the heat gets too much. 

Overall - 6/10 - better than average cigar that is always a pleasure to smoke. Only have 1 more but have a psp box that'll hopefully arrive this week!

Nice review.

Big fan of the entire Epicure line, but the No.2 is definitely my favorite. Always tasty and always good draw, burn and construction, but wont break the bank.

I too prefer a pretty open draw, as i like to get a large smoke volume with minimal effort. Hate having to really suck hard on a Cigar, only to get a little smoke.

Hopefully will be getting more nice open draws on more different sticks once I complete my trade for a PerfecDraw tool in a week.

Will be nice to open up the 40rg or less smokes I enjoy, but tend to have a tighter than I prefer draw.

unfortunately my Modus tool doesn't help with anything but plugs, and is too large to really use on anything under like 48 rg without cracking the wrapper, and sometimes the binder too, making them unsmokable.

Yep initially only picked up a 1/4 clearance grade and all have been consistently good. Hope the psp grade will be even better!

Actually have a trade arranged already.
Surprisingly, got a taker right away.

Honestly wasn't expecting to be able to get one in trade, but didn't want to have to wait for November to buy one, so figured it was worth a shot.

Just have to wait a week until I can ship his Cigars.

Already have several cigars set aside the have a very tight cold draw to use it on
