Popular Post djrey Posted July 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 24, 2021 With many positive reviews of Dip 2’s around FOH. I got myself an HQ box. Figured it was time to crack it open. The cigar looks to be perfectly constructed with a nice glossy Colorado wrapper. First third begins with a grassiness that quickly transitions into light milk chocolate and an herbal/nutty flavor. Mild to medium in body. Second third the chocolate continues while becoming a bit darker. Some baking spices become prevalent and I now see what many call the bell pepper note. Final third is just great. It is exactly as I see the described, a blend of Monte 2 and P2, chocolate, coffee and bell pepper. Medium/full. What a fun cigar 93pts. Total smoking time - 1.5 hrs. 13
smbauerllc Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Nice review. I have only had a few, but really enjoyed them. Excellent smokes in every regard Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1
SCgarman Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Myself was quite disappointed in this cigar considering the huge praise it garners. It seemed to be a cigar with no real identity. No distinct personality. Now the Upmann 2, VR Unicos, Monte 2, Partagas P2 definitely have their own distinctive DNA. Of course taste in cigars is purely subjective! 1

Also wasn't overly impressed by the unicos. It was good, but think the cheaper Famosos is better Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1

It was a gift. Had some of the most unique oriental spice profiles ever. Unlike any other Cuban experience. Cigars are quite the journey! 1

That being said, the bell pepper elements are incredibly unique to this cigar, and I don't get them in any other tobacco form. It is strange to have cream, earth/tobacco and bell pepper all at the same time but it is master of tobacco terroir imho 1
