There is a lot here (in relation to the rum) that makes no sense to me.

This looks very similar to the marketing used so often nowadays, focusing on tradition/heritage and the individual story. Like you’re buying straight from the craftsmen themselves. Figures, because I looked it up and our friends at LVMH are behind this 😄

As for the rum itself, it’s a style of rum that can be fairly complex and tasty. As long as they haven’t sweetened it to the nth degree, it might be quite nice. I do think the price point is quite spicy, considering what else is out there.
