Popular Post justince Posted June 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2021 On a family vacation out in Florida & we decided to take out a boat. Was a gorgeous day out on the intercoastal...figured I'd bust out the big guns and light up my favorite double corona. Opening notes of wood and spice, not as bready as expecting but it's there. Extremely smooth and airy smoke, not very dense at all. Very easy on the retro. Medium bodied. This stick also basically had no strength too, which is a good thing when you're out driving a boat 😅 Unfortunately it started to canoe pretty bad, probably due to the wind & touchups were a pain since I didn't have a torch on me, so you could only imagine. Luckily it never went out and kept going along until the end, so big points for that in my book. It's always a treat to smoke a Lusi. This box has been a winner in my book, anyone else with this box code should dig in. I picked it up here at FOH so I doubt I'm the only one with it. 9/10 12
El Presidente Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 Let us know what the box code was smoking outdoors while fishing/boating is something that I do a lot of. i find it almost impossible to keep a decent burn on any cigar. there are few things better however 2
smbauerllc Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 Very nice review. Still waiting to have my first Lusi. Was generously gifted a 2016 one that I'm saving for any special occasion to smoke. They always get excellent reviews and seem quite popular, so I really can't wait to try one. Just wish I could find singles somewhere, as i prefer to be able to compare recent production sticks to my few aged ones to note the difference age makes for them, since I'm new to smoking anything more than 2 or 3 years old. 3 hours ago, El Presidente said: Let us know what the box code was smoking outdoors while fishing/boating is something that I do a lot of. i find it almost impossible to keep a decent burn on any cigar. there are few things better however I always smoke mine outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine, even in the winter and its below freezing. Just something about smoking them indoors isn't as enjoyable to me, unless I were able to smoke them in my recliner in my room, that would be the only exception Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1

It's certainly a treat. The defining trait for me is how airy and light the smoke from a Lusi tends to be. It's relatively unique in that regard in my eyes.
Haveyoubeensmoking Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 I have a TUA JUN 20 box that is excellent as well. Was my first Lusi so set the bar pretty high. Just got a SOU OCT 20 box that haven’t sampled yet.
Shrimpchips Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 SOU factory has been pumping out some beautiful Lusis in 2020. I’ve got a 2020 ENE box that I’ve yet to sample, but the cigars are dark and oily, and so aromatic, I’m surprised I haven’t just eaten one of them yet. 1
