Bolivar Royal Coronas MSU FEB 18 (VVRW#1)

Had this cigar earlier this week and it is one of my favourite Robustos. Actually, every time I smoke one, I wonder why I smoke other robustos. I had made a comment when I posted this cigar on the daily smoke thread that this beats a BBF.

 

V-Cut

Paired with a flat white from Starbucks.

 

 

1st: leather, earth with a nice easy draw and tons of smoke output

 

2nd: the cigar really opened up to provide some sweetness, earth, cocoa and some classic Cuban twang. This is a cigar imo that you should try if you haven’t experienced the twang.

 

3rd: burn and combustion has been spot on, the cigar continued to deliver with cocoa, earth and coffee.

 

This was a clearance box and each and everyone has been 90 plus easy.

Today this was a 94, it was that good!

Hold on to what you've got because for the short-term stocks are currently depleted worldwide. BRCs will return however.

This is from the 'horse's mouth' as he (i.e El Pres) brought it up a few days ago in conversation with me. We were discussing the state of current stock and supply issues out of Cuba impacted by Covid-19 etc. Yes, the BRC was mentioned.

Who knows, we may get more treacle of stock for 24:24 (for the BRC) in the near future but this discussion was for supplies at the present time. We will no doubt discuss the current 'state of play' on ZOOM catch-ups today and over the next few weeks.

I’ve got my first box of BBF on the way. Will be my first Bolivar ever. Really excited to try. 
 

The royal corona and petit corona are also on my short list
