Popular Post ChangBang Posted April 3, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 3, 2021 Been a busy week so haven't smoked a cigar since the 25th! Couldn't decide what to smoke but with the robusto competition, might as well smoke the oldest cigar I have! Very generous of @JZBdano to trade me this back in Xmas. I'm working through the rest of the trade, too many cigars too little time 😂 Cigar feels and smells good - give it a punch...great draw. Light it up and we're on our way. Starts off with a ton of flavor - I get leather, coffee, and dark chocolate. All wrapped up with a nice hint of sweetness to the cigar. Smoke is crazy smooth and I retrohaled as much of it as I can(still getting the hang of it especially right after a draw) Smoke is rich and velvety. So far, it's as good of a start as you can get! Burn is razor sharp 2/2 - Stayed like the start for the first half and transitioned a little half way through(only 1 ash at this point). In the 2nd half, I get leather, earth, and a flavor which reminded me of dark chocolate covered almonds. Starting to get a little bite which I kinda associate with BRC and BBF's. Not unpleasant in any way, but reminds me I'm smoking a Bolivar? Last inch intensifies in flavor and I'm getting the classic Bolivar flavors of leather, earth, dark rich tobacco, and espresso. The bite is in full effect which is great. Overall...I think this is my favorite cigar EVER and is a 9/10! I do have some 2019 BRCs that I'm considering burying for geez 11 more years? Seriously thank you JZBdano! 9
