San Cristobal El Principe LGR JUN 17 (L&SRW1)

Lots of us have El Principes from around this time: late 2017 and the La Corona factory. This is the second from a PSP box. Full colorado colour with a touch of rosado. Firm but workable draw and a fairly tight roll.

Quite punchy for SCDLH! Much fuller bodied than most La Fuerza. Definitely the Christmas cake bakery spices that are characteristic for this marca, but also a strong savoury wood smoke element. None of the eggy flavour these can sometimes show: this is darker register. Serious little smoke.

Lovely in the early spring sunshine. Unfortunately I had to take a video call, so didn’t even get halfway. All the same an enjoyable 25 minutes.
