Oh my god! I thought I would never see my arch nemisis again! When I got out of the Army in 1996. Sioux Falls Breweing Company (now defunct) in Sioux Falls SD was a regular hangout and they had one of those. I ordered a cigar once and they asked if I wanted it lit and brought out this monstrosity and dropped it on the table in front of me like I know what to do with it. Waitress showed me real quick. I reach up to protect the flame from a draft, leaned forward and I think a ring might have closed a circut somewhere cause all I saw was a blue arc and a pop like a welder went off in my face, smelled burned hair and my ring finger was warm. Couldn't see for a second or two by when I could see the whole bar and my table of friends were all looking at me and this now smoking box. "How about some matches?" I asked. She promptly apologized and ran to get me matches while I looked of the damage and winds up it just singed one of my eyebrows. Made for some good dinner conversation that evening and everytime we ate there after that.

That's ok. At that time in my life there was always some epic stupid that happend every night we went out. We almost always brought it upon ourselves. Except that biker chick that I thought was Bon Jovi at Frying Pan Restaurant and I tried getting his/her attention by throwing fried cheese balls at her and her two burly boyfriends table. That really wasn't my fault. She should have shaved.
