Not the op. But haven't had much in the way of issues with burn in the cold.

What temperature are you facing outside. I'm generally somewhere between 20f and 40f, but have been as low as 5f.

Also what type of burn issues? Uneven burn, tunneling, requiring constant relights?

Just fine burn. The odd and rare time I might get a wrapper split but most of the time it is all good. I have my cigars at 63-65rh range at 65F. It was I think -4C that day.

Personally, I have to smoke far fewer cigars in the colder months. So when I do smoke, it is a treat and I suck up the cold temps and accept the shrinkage.

Constant relighted and tunneling usually .....my temps are similar but usually between 30-40f

I am pretty sure that temperature has an effect on the burning of cigars. I think cigars will cool quicker. I could see how this could result in having to relight or tunneling (cigar will cool outside in).

The only thing I can think of is to adjust your puffing, probably puff faster/harder in your case to keep the cigar hotter/warmer.

For me smoke times tend to be longer in the cold, others report shorter smoke times.

Relative humidity may be a factor too, it tends to be higher when it's cold. But I haven't seen that too problematic.

It might also depend on specific temperatures. I was seeing some tunneling type problems at 40F-50F, but not now between 20F-40F (I assumed it was my storage).
