Popular Post sw15825 Posted January 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 21, 2021 Pre Light: Earth and cedar with hint of barnyard. Construction was spot on, fully filled cigar, possibly too much. Lighter color wrapper and I was hoping the stick was not overfilled. Paired with spring water. 1st : Coffee and earth, slight green pepper flavors. The aroma was beautiful. The flavors, balanced and creamy. The draw was too tight for about first inch but then loosened up. A great start! 2nd : Strength increasing slightly it's a solid medium and more to medium full at end of this 3rd. A sweetness comes in, with a cocoa and hints of powdered sugar. I was enjoying it and thinking how good the cigar was compared to the aged one I had smoked before this. Leather comes in to add to the earth, coffee and pepper increases just the right amount. The cigar is evolving and interesting. Still creamy smooth. 3rd : Coffee leaves for some sweet floral flavors. The earth is still present, pepper flavors subside and it changed throughout all parts of the smoke. When the ash dropped, a perfect cone in the center. The draw was good and I really enjoyed the cigar overall. One note was that the cigar was 3 and a half years old and if someone had given it to me and told me it had 7 or 8 years of age, I would have believed him. I know this is just an isolated experience but the discussions of cigars being blended to smoke well in their infancy was seen here. 7
