It just wasn't my cup of tea and had shelved the idea of any further. This year I was offered one from a friend whom assured me that they had improved. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Where once I found heavy cedar and pepper with a harsh tobacco, it was replaced with some cream, cherry, light chocolate, balanced cedar and toasty tobacco. From reading the forums it seems that perhaps the quality has lifted somewhat on these and has raised the stakes from that which I may have smoked 2 years back. I do however also wonder if it could be that may taste is now more accommodating to a wider array. Either way I'm happy. Post that revelation stick, went out and procured myself a 10 count box and have enjoyed the majority of that box. When not under filled though they are by far my favorite in the ryj churchill range. Great smokes.
