Partagas P2 MSU MAR 19 (MRDRW)

This cigar is definitely always a "Mr Dependable" for me. And especially in the last couple of years it has shined like when I first tried them. Perfect construction on this guy with a wrapper that is spotted in smoke places. 

The first third opens with flavors of roasted coffee and that "Partagas Spice". The draw is a little firm but it produced a lot of smoke. Nearing the end of the first third some cream head into the mix 

The second third continues much like the first with the cream and coffee being dominant and some white pepper notes on the retrohale. 

In the beginning of the last third the cream and white pepper are more up front and a get a little peanut on the retrohale. Very nice. 

This wasn't the best P2 I have enjoyed but it was a solid example. It fits in the Mr Dependable category for me because I don't think I have had a bad one in the examples I have tried over the last few years.

Beautiful cigar, beautiful stream and deck to enjoy it by, and nice review. Cigar reviews have become a lot more complex since I last paid attention. Much like wine tasting.
