Popular Post Bijan
Cigar was over official weight. But official weight for Half Coronas is very low (the only cigars I have that are lower in official density are Culebras and Petit Royales, the latter of which is pretty much another form of Half Corona). Might account for why @MrBirdman noted that HUHC generally have a loose draw in his recent review. 9mm punch and draw is a little tight. Again as my last cigar, just a little plug at the head, and using perfecdraw once to a depth of about 1/2 to 2/3 of an inch in and it is much better. Pre-light draw of cocoa. First third: Cocoa, with a touch of cinnamon here and there. Cocoa and cinnamon alternating on the retrohale. Mainly light cocoa. Second third: Coffee flavour comes in. I was drinking tea while smoking this cigar, but whenever I drink coffee with a cigar I am unsure of where the coffee flavour is coming from (the drink or the cigar), good thing I was drinking tea and could recognize it was definitely from the cigar. Final third: Some nutmeg for a moment, coffee flavour gets a bit stronger and bitter. For a while I worry that the cigar is getting too bitter, but it's not the unpleasant liquorice flavour I get when a cigar isn't burning right, just a more intense version of the flavour in the second third. Approximately 40 minute smoke time to a nub. Probably just a bit over 3.5/5 so I'd give it 4/5 stars.
