The first one I had didn’t burn too well as I believe it was still wet. This sample was in my 61rh desktop humidor for about a week. Used a punch and paired with a porter which turned out to be a bad pairing as it tasted like suntan lotion (likely the coconut) This is a montesco Vitola measuring at 55 by 130mm. Draw and construction was perfect! 1st light bread, cereal 2nd: same as above 3rd: same as above with a little more body. Just below medium at best. I must say I was disappointed as I have found dip regionals to be some of the best. It was just somewhat bland and not that typical rich sourdough that I get from diplomaticos. I am hoping this is just a one off as really do enjoy diplomaticos. Can’t fault the construction however, so I will give this a 86. I have to say Brent, i have gotten that sourdoughey goodness from mine. I usually pair with green tea or coffee. @Lrabold89 might be right about your pairing.
