Popular Post RDB
These don’t seem to have been made for a few years now, and boxes are getting expensive on Bond Roberts. Dammit! Cool and damp weather suits a skinny, and these are very slender at 32RG and 6 inches long. Draw is often a problem, and this was a little tight near the head, but one poke with a perfecdraw sorted that out. Appearance is as usual quite rustic and rough, but the colour is that great colorado rosado that works so well for LGC. Right from the opening we are in classic savoury LGC flavours. Burnt pizza. Fatty bacon. A sort of umami richness. Oregano. Very full flavoured, and this one reasonably full bodied. Would be a knockout in slightly larger size - I’d love to try a La Reina one day. Only moderate development, but a lot of complexity throughout. Great stuff. Now make some more please, Habanos! Score an unambiguous 1 (on the 1/0 binary scale).
KCCubano
Great review! I've had some stellar boxes over the years. Best was probably OSU 02s. So many different flavors abound in these gems. Been on the hunt for more but no luck.
